Bio: Gina started training in Jiu Jitsu with Federal Training Officer Frank Sabater in January 2009 and joined Rilion Gracie Jiu Jitsu Academy in October of 2009. She recently received her blue belt from Master Gracie in February 2010. After her first win at the 2009 Florida Police Olympics she decided to make competing a permanent part of her life. During the day when Gina is not working she does cross-fit and kettlebell training with Federal Training Officer Frank Sabater and then trains at Rilion Gracie Academy at night. Her hard work and dedication showed at Miami International Open when she was said to have the “best submission of the tournament.” Gina continues to train hard and plans on competing in several tournaments this year.
